The online Hoogendoorn data analysis platform provides secure, instant access to relevant growth data at any time, from any location and on any device.
Why data analysis?
With the exponential growth of sensor generated data, intelligent data analysis is key to enable efficiencies in greenhouse automation and more cost efficient business models. Our online data analysis platform allows you to make easy but accurate analyses of your cultivation data, allows predictions and enables you to make well-considered decisions to boost growth.
Via the data analysis platform you have access to your real-time growth data about e.g. greenhouse climate, energy consumption and production. This valuable data, retrieved from e.g. your iSii process computer, Work-IT management information system, or non-Hoogendoorn system, can be compared over multiple periods and of multiple locations. An important aspect is the use of graphs and summaries that enable you to view data at a single glance. To create a good overview and to maintain a perfect span of control, you can create your own dashboards and gauges. With this you can instantly see which actions led to a successful crop and which critical spots in your greenhouse you should focus on.
The data analysis platform does not just show you visualizations of your data, but also offers you analysis tools that you need to optimize your cultivation. Real-time data is converted into valuable information which provides you with additional monitoring and control options for managing your cultivation.
Hoogendoorn frequently adds new functionalities to its platform, developed with the help of suppliers and research institutions. Continuous improvement of processes, products and services guarantees quality.
Better advice from your crop advisor
You can share your cultivation data with your crop advisor, free of charge. Both you and your crop advisor have 24/7 access to your real-time greenhouse data. This enables the advisor to provide you with better advice. As owner of your data, you can decide who has access and to which part. This gives you full control.
Modular structure
The Hoogendoorn data analysis platform is subscription based and offers modules to choose from. Therefore you only pay for information that is relevant for your needs.
A few modules are described below.
Climate Monitor
The better the greenhouse climate, the better crop yields and quality. With the climate monitor you know exactly how the most important growth factors relate to each other.
For the plant, the ideal growth climate is a combination of radiation (PAR light), temperature, relative humidity (RH) and CO₂. Every radiation level asks for certain values of the other factors. These growth factors ensure the plant remains in balance and thus ensure optimum production and quality. With the Climate Monitor, you monitor and guard the right combination of growth factors in the greenhouse and by this ensure a balanced climate.
But that’s not all. The Climate Monitor non-stop tracks the realized greenhouse climate and determines whether the growth factors are in balance at all times. That means, within the limits you set yourself. Deviations are registered and clearly displayed, ensuring quick and easy insights into the quality of your greenhouse climate. This way you know which limits are exceeded and you can make adjustments in your climate controls where needed. With the Climate Monitor, you realize an even better greenhouse climate, resulting in improved crop yields and quality.
Plant Balance RTR
With Plant Balance RTR you steer on the correct balance of light and temperature. This results in a balanced plant and thus an optimized production and possible energy savings.
You enter the ideal ratio of light and temperature for your crop, which will be displayed in the data analysis platform. With the use of a scatter plot, the achieved light-temperature ratios will be shown. You can immediately see how good or aberrant your climate was. You will be shown the dots for the averages of the last three months and the averages of the last week. With the Plant Balance RTR-module, you achieve a balanced crop. This results in an optimum production and quality and minimizes the risk of pests and diseases.
Harvest forecast
With the harvest forecast, expected yields are calculated. This allows growers to grow more systematically.
The most exact way to calculate the harvest forecast is via Artificial Intelligence. Results show a precision of over 90%. Of course this percentage largely depends on the amount of data available and the correctness of this data. To start with harvest forecast based on Artificial Intelligence you need at least three years of (correct) data to achieve this precision.
Not enough data available from the start? Hoogendoorn also offers a harvest forecast based on a plant physiology model. This way, growers can start using harvest forecast immediately while building up the amount of available data.
